Travelling with kids opens doors
After 25 years experience of travelling with kids for me this is the most exciting way to travel. It is a way to meet people and to see other countries and cultures from within rather than from a tourist perspective. Kids are "eye openers". Kids are winning hearts and minds and children are born to explore and will enrich every journey.
My advice to all parents is to take one child at a time and travel with him or her just the two of you to a special "once in a lifetime destination". Nothing can replace such intensive experience later in life for you and your child. It will help you to understand your child better when growing into puberty. Grandparents should do the same with their grandchildren.
There is no region on earth that you can not visit with children. Children are adaptable and resistant against tough climate and physical challenges if they are adequately prepared and motivated. The health risks should be considered and necessary vaccinations should be done right in advance. The travel kit should be adjusted to childrens' needs.
