Frequent flyer and health risk

Frequent flyers in particular are at higher risk for diseases from exposure by

  • radiation
  • dry air and air condition
  • contagious microorganisms from all over the world
  • sleeping deficit and jet lag with subsequent weakened immune system
  • unhealthy food
  • stress
  • climatic changes
  • accidents
  • thrombosis
  • physical inactivity during long distance flights

The typical frequent flyer will report a higher incidence of infections and a range of unspecific health problems.

Further there is a higher risk of dvt, deep vein thrombosis from long periods of sitting and a risk of accidents in general.

There are ways to reduce the risks to a minimum. Come and ask us.
