Frequent flyer and health risk
Frequent flyers in particular are at higher risk for diseases from exposure by
- radiation
- dry air and air condition
- contagious microorganisms from all over the world
- sleeping deficit and jet lag with subsequent weakened immune system
- unhealthy food
- stress
- climatic changes
- accidents
- thrombosis
- physical inactivity during long distance flights
The typical frequent flyer will report a higher incidence of infections and a range of unspecific health problems.
Further there is a higher risk of dvt, deep vein thrombosis from long periods of sitting and a risk of accidents in general.
There are ways to reduce the risks to a minimum. Come and ask us.
